MORE ABOUT THE TOUR Manavgat River Yacht Tour from Side

• Yacht trips can take place not only by sea, but also by rivers. A river cruise will bring variety to your vacation and distract you from a series of beach everyday life.

• The Manavgat River is one of the largest and deepest waterways of Turkey. Its length is 93 kilometers, and its width is 40-50 meters. This is a fairly full-flowing river with crystal clear, cool water, a beautiful turquoise shade. The source of Manavgat was formed by several springs on the slopes of the Western Taurus, at an altitude of about 1350 meters. Underground springs also feed it.
• Two dams were built on the river: Manavgat and Oymapinar, as well as trout farms. Its waters feed the plains, which are considered the most fertile in Antalya province, and on which fruits, vegetables, cotton and cereals are grown.
• The banks of the river are also a National Park with rich flora and fauna. It is home to a huge number of birds and animals.
• Dividing the city of the same name into two parts, the river flows into the Mediterranean Sea. The confluence of cold river water and warm sea water is especially popular with tourists. In addition to the opportunity to experience unusual sensations, a sharp temperature drop has a tonic and rejuvenating effect.

• The Yacht tour on the Manavgat River is designed for almost the whole day. In the morning, our bus will arrive at the hotel, which will take you to the port. Here you will transfer to a spacious and comfortable three-deck yacht and embark on an exciting journey. Enjoy the picturesque scenery, watch the pelicans and view the river turtles in the clear water.
• At the confluence of the river and the sea, the yacht will make a 45-minute stop. You can go ashore on the spit, sunbathe on the snow-white beach, swim in the river, the sea, or both at the same time, feeling at the same time how the warm current replaces the cool, and then warm again.
• While you are relaxing and swimming, lunch is being prepared on the yacht.
• After lunch, the second part of the tour begins – a walk by the sea.
• The yacht will pass along the sea coast and return back to the pier.
• After leaving the yacht, you will transfer to buses and go to the most famous attraction of the city of Side – Manavgat Waterfall, which is located in the middle of a picturesque forest park.
• Manavgat Waterfall is not a natural attraction, but a man–made one. This is a dam that ensures the normal functioning of the Oymapinar reservoir. The height of the waterfall is only 2 meters, but the width is as much as 40 meters. Viewing platforms are installed on both sides of it for a better view. It is strictly forbidden to go down to the water. Firstly, there is a strong current. Secondly, even in the heat, the water temperature in this place does not exceed + 10C.
• It is also interesting that the image of the waterfall was at one time displayed on a banknote with a face value of 5 lire. Now these banknotes are no longer available.
• During this tour you will also have 2 hours of free time to visit Manavgat Bazaar. If you like shopping or are looking for something to bring from Turkey as a souvenir to yourself and friends, then you are definitely here. This is the largest market where you can find everything from jewelry to handmade souvenirs. Special attention should be paid to national sweets, fresh spices, fruits and vegetables.

• When going on a yacht tour, choose light clothes and shoes in which it will be convenient for you to spend the whole day. Be sure to bring a hat, bathing accessories and sunscreen. Do not forget drinking water, a camera and money for personal expenses.
