How does the hammam visit in Kemer work?

Staff meet you on arrival and show you to the changing room, where you’re given a towel, slippers and a locker key.

The scrub is done with a kese, a special exfoliating mitt. The therapist gently removes dead skin cells and leaves your skin smooth.

After the kese comes the foam massage. You’re covered in warm soap foam, and slow, gentle strokes ease the tension so you can switch off completely.

Next comes a classic oil massage. It lasts about 20 minutes and relaxes muscles tired from the journey, the flight, sightseeing and active days.

A hammam is a gentle bathing ritual. There’s no fierce heat in the marble hall: your body warms up gradually in the warm steam. Then come the kese scrub, foam massage, classic oil massage, face mask and tea. The treatments take place on warm marble, at an unhurried pace and in a relaxed atmosphere.
Do the hammam staff speak English?
Yes, the staff speak English. On the spot you can check the details of the programme, ask questions, and ask for a gentler or a firmer massage.
Does the hammam have separate sections for men and women?
No, the hammam is mixed. Women can, however, have their massage done by a female therapist. If this matters to you, please mention it when you book or as soon as you arrive at the hammam.
Can I bring children to the hammam?
Yes, children are welcome. Children under 7 go free, but no treatments are provided for them, and parents look after their little ones themselves. For children aged 7–12, the programme includes the kese scrub, foam massage, face mask and tea. The classic oil massage is given from the age of 13, and from that age a child can have the full programme, just like an adult.
