MORE ABOUT THE TOUR

• Sapadere Canyon is a huge gorge stretching for 450 kilometers and dividing the Taurus Mountains into two parts. The beauty of this area conquers and falls in love with absolutely everyone. The refreshing coolness of the mountain air, steep cliffs overgrown with pine forest, a river flowing along the bottom, which formed many picturesque waterfalls and quiet backwaters with crystal clear water on its way. It's nice to spend a few hours of free time here, enjoy the splendor of the wild nature of Turkey, relax from the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoying the singing of birds, the rustle of the wind and the murmur of streams.
• Sapadere Canyon is located only 45 kilometers from Alanya, however, despite the short distance it is quite difficult to get here on your own. Traveling as part of an excursion group is an ideal solution, the tour price includes a two–way transfer by jeep from hotels from all regions of the resort, lunch, visiting several other interesting sights and of course what no safari can do without – water battles!
• The gorge is a truly unique place, which is also a protected area, carefully protected by the government. In 2008, it was opened to the public. For a comfortable promenade of tourists, a hinged wooden platform was laid along the bottom of the cliff, stretching 700 meters deep, the descents to the baths are ennobled with steps and signs that indicate information about the depth of the natural pool. Please note that the water temperature in them is always no more than +12C.
• About halfway along the way, you can relax in an unusual cafe under a rock, drink a cup of tea and admire the scenery around you.
• Having walked enough, you will have lunch on the Dim River, the main dish is the freshest trout, which is so rich in the waterway.
• The program of the Sapadere Canyon tour from Alanya includes a visit to the Djujeler Cave, which is also called the Rainbow Cave, or Gnomes. It's hard to believe, but it's more than 10,000 years old! The length of the cave is 150 meters, inside there are 6 well-lit halls available for tourists to explore and many narrow passages, colorful stalactites and stalagmites. The air temperature is +20C all year round.
• During the reign of the Ottoman Empire, cattle were hidden in Jujeler, thereby avoiding paying tax for an excessively large herd. And today she gives us the opportunity to plunge into the mysterious and magical world of the dungeon.
• During the tour, you will have stops and photo breaks at the observation deck near the city of Mahmutlar, near banana and peanut plantations. And also a visit to an authentic village where you can taste the national gozleme cakes and go to the functioning village mosque.
