• Tourists will be collected from hotels in the area at 8:30 - 9:30 AM. (After your booking is confirmed, the exact pickup time will be added to your e-ticket.)

More about the tour

• Our tour program starts from 08:30 - 09:30 am. We'll pick you up from your hotel's security gate and head to Side's port, just 5 km away from the city.
• Upon reaching the port, an instructor will greet you and lead you to the yacht.
• The yacht will then set course to the diving spot near the underwater museum.
• The Underwater Museum in Side is the world's second largest, with exhibits highlighting the rich history, culture, myths, and legends of the country.
• During the journey, the instructor will brief you on safety measures, underwater behavior, basic hand signals for underwater communication, proper breathing techniques to conserve oxygen, and help with the diving gear.
• Once the yacht anchors, divers will be grouped into teams of 5. All dives are at depths of 5-8 meters, closely monitored by the instructor. Typically, one dive lasts 20 minutes. This duration is enough to get comfortable underwater, enjoy the beauty of marine life, view museum exhibits, and of course, pose for photos.
• Those waiting for their turn or who have finished diving can relax on the yacht's deck, swim in the open Mediterranean sea, or snorkel.
• After the first dive, a hearty lunch awaits, which is included in the tour price.
• Rejuvenated from the meal, a second dive awaits. By now, novice divers often feel more confident.
• The second dive, like the first, is accompanied by an instructor, is at a depth of 5-8 meters, and lasts up to 20 minutes. Afterward, the yacht will head back to the port.
• On the return journey, you can view the photos and videos taken during the dive and purchase them if you wish.
• Upon arriving at the port, you'll board your bus, which will take you back to your hotel by 16:30-17:30 in the evening.

Extra Information

• Tourists who don't wish to dive can join the excursion as passengers.
• For safety reasons, children under 14 are not allowed to dive. They can join only as passengers.
• When booking for a passenger, specify "Children aged 7 to 14". In this case, the cost of the excursion will be cheaper.
• Children who join the tour for free do not get separate seats on the bus. They share seats with adults (sit on their laps).
• If you want your child to have a separate seat on the bus, book them as a paid child during the reservation.

Underwater Museum

• The Underwater Museum opened in 2015 and with each new season, it becomes even more popular. At the bottom, there are 110 sculptures and monuments made from environmentally-friendly materials. The creators hope that in the future, this place will become a new coral reef, serving as a home for various marine life and improving the Mediterranean Sea's ecosystem.
• Between depths of 9 to 25 meters, you'll see a massive statue of Neptune, the temple of Apollo, twirling dervishes in dance, warriors who stood up for their country's independence, scenes from ancient mythology, blooming gardens, and much more.

Diving: Can Beginners Try?

• All our instructors are certified experts. They can help people with no diving experience. They provide training, safety briefings, and assist in choosing equipment that fits you. Moreover, we offer modern boats equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and safe journey, dive preparation, and relaxation afterward. With us, you'll always feel safe!

Who Shouldn't Dive?

• Despite its fun, diving does have several health advisories. For instance, pregnant women, people with respiratory, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal diseases, and those with central nervous system disorders should avoid diving. In other cases, it's best to consult your doctor before diving.

With Kids or Without?

• Children can start diving with scuba gear from the age of 14.
• Minors are allowed on the yacht only when accompanied by parents.
• However, if you have a very young child, don't deny yourself the joy of diving. While one parent dives, the other can have a fun time with the child on the ship, swimming in the open sea, or sunbathing.

Best Time to Dive

• Even though the tourist season in Turkey starts from April to October, the best time for scuba diving is between May to September. During these months, the water warms up to +30°C, but remember, the deeper you go, the cooler the water becomes, dropping by 5 degrees.
